September 14, 2021 Gubernatorial Recall Election

As this is a State Office recall effort, the City of Campbell does not have any items on the ballot, however all registered voters in the city will receive a mailed ballot.

To Register to Vote

To register to vote, you must be at least 18 years of age by election day, a U.S. citizen, a California resident, and not currently imprisoned or on parole for a felony. You can register to vote online or by completing a registration form available at the Registrar of Voter's Office, U.S. Post Offices, Public Libraries,  Department of Motor Vehicles, or other government offices. Vote By Mail

Every registered voter will receive a Vote by Mail ballot starting the week of August 16, 2021. The last day to request a Vote by Mail ballot replacement is September 7, 2021. Click here to learn more about Voting by Mail.

Vote Center/Ballot Drop Box

Due to COVID-19, City Hall and many other government buildings are not open to the public, therefore Ballot Drop Boxes will be located outside. The Ballot Drop Box at City Hall can be found near the front parking lot. The Registrar of Voters' website includes a search tool to help voters find their closest Vote Center or Ballot Drop Box. Ballots can also be dropped off in any Post Office or U.S. Postal Mailbox. No postage is necessary.

Important Dates:

  • The first day for mailing of vote by mail ballots is August 16, 2021.
  • The last day to register to vote is August 30, 2021.
  • The last day to request a vote by mail ballot is September 7, 2021.
  • Election day is September 14, 2021.

All Vote Centers and the Registrar of Voters Office' will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, September 14, 2021.
