Employers Need to Determine Employee Vaccination Status by June 2

Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Status

The new County Health Order of May 18 requires businesses and governmental entities to ascertain the vaccination status of all personnel by June 2. The Health Order requires businesses to complete this requirement within 14 days of the Order’s effective date of May 19. 

Until a person’s vaccination status is ascertained, they must be treated as not fully vaccinated. Personnel who decline to provide vaccination status must also be treated as unvaccinated. Employers must obtain updated vaccination status for all personnel who were not fully vaccinated every 14 days. Business and governmental entities must maintain appropriate records to comply with the Health Order. More information is available from the County’s Vaccination Status FAQ’s.
