Concerns are reviewed by the department and routed to the right unit. You can include photos, vehicle details, and location.

Online Reporting

The online reporting system is available for certain non-emergency incidents that do not require an immediate police response.

Before submitting a report, please confirm that all of the following apply:

  • The incident is not an emergency.
  • The incident occurred within Campbell city limits (except identity theft).
  • There are no known suspects or investigative leads.

If your incident does not meet these criteria, please call (408) 866-2101.

Please Note

The Campbell Police Department prides itself on the service we provide to the community, including sending officers to all types of calls for service. This online reporting system is not intended to replace personal contact by officers, but instead is envisioned as an additional tool for you to use to report crimes in the event that you do not wish personal contact by an officer.

  • All cases filed through the online reporting system will be reviewed and will help us track crime trends and patterns.
  • The reports filed online are also usually the quickest and easiest way to get a report for your insurance company.


What happens after I file a report? 

1. REPORT your crime online. After you complete your report, you will see a message that says "Your Online Has Been Submitted."

2. RECEIVE a temporary report. After submitting your report you will be sent a temporary transaction number. This is you confirmation number but NOT your official police report number. 

3. APPROVAL of your report. If your report is approved, you will receive an email with the official police report number. Use this official police report number to file claims with your insurance company.
