Electrify Your Home and Save

Community Development Posted on March 12, 2025

Burning fossil fuels for cooking and heating can significantly contribute to local air pollution, which causes both climate change and health issues. In 2024, the City of Campbell passed an Air Quality Ordinance prohibiting NOx air pollution from appliances and equipment in new buildings and major remodels. While the City doesn’t regulate existing buildings, electrifying your home can help you live in a cleaner and healthier environment. For many, electrifying your home can also result in reduced energy bills – both from more efficient appliances and better energy rates. Whether you’re required to comply with the new Air Quality Ordinance or you’re choosing to decarbonize your home, there are a range of incentives available to help reduce your costs.
