City Advisory Commission Openings
he Planning Commission is composed of seven members who advise the City Council regarding a full range of development-related issues, including amendments to the City’s General Plan and Zoning Ordinance. Regular meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber of City Hall. In addition to the regular meetings, study sessions are held periodically. Additionally, members are periodically asked to serve on Planning Commission committees, including the Site and Architectural Review Committee. Applicants should give full consideration to the time commitment required for service on this commission. Eligibility Requirement: Campbell resident and at least 18 years of age.
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee is composed of five members. The committee guides the development of bicycle and pedestrian planning and policies for the City. They also make recommendations to the City Council regarding the use of funds for bicycle and pedestrian related capital projects. To be eligible for appointment on this volunteer advisory committee, applicants must reside within Campbell City limits and be at least 18 years of age. The Committee meets on an as needed basis, but general meets bi-monthly. The Traffic Engineer Division of the Public Works Department provides the primary staff support and assists on an as-needed basis.
