2021 State of the City
On September 17, 2021, Mayor Elizabeth "Liz" Gibbons delivered her State of the City address at the Ainsley House Gardens. Members of local service groups, neighborhood representatives, appointed and elected officials throughout the County, and members of the City's advisory boards and commissions were in attendance. The Mayor's presentation included the City Council's priorities over the past year, an overview of the budget and highlights of important work that continued throughout the pandemic. 2020 State of the City
On July 29, 2020, Mayor Susan M. Landry delivered her State of the City address as a virtual online event.
2019 State of the City
On September 26, 2019, Mayor Rich Waterman delivered his State of the City address at Orchard City Banquet Hall. The Mayor's presentation began with a brief overview of Campbell's long history, fiscal health, thriving business community, capital improvement projects, technology leadership in our online business services, Measure O, our changing environment and progress on the City's General Plan. The Mayor also used the opportunity to recognize community heroes.
2018 State of the City
On September 5, 2018, Mayor Paul Resnikoff delivered his State of the City address at Orchard City Banquet Hall. Many members of local service groups, neighborhood representatives, appointed and elected officials throughout the County, and members of the City's advisory boards and commissions were in attendance. The Mayor's presentation included updates on the City’s fiscal health, private developments, capital improvement projects, policies and initiatives, and a progress report on the General Plan Update. The Mayor also used the opportunity to recognize community heroes and urged attendees to stay connected and engaged by following the City on its various social media sites such as Next Door, Facebook and Twitter.
