Facebook Small Business Grants
Facebook is providing $15 million in grant funds to Bay Area small businesses impacted by COVID-19 and related shelter-in place orders. This effort is part of Facebook’s $100 million Small Business Grants Program to support small businesses in countries where the social media company operates. Eligibility requirements include:
- Have between 2 and 50 employees
- Have been in business for over a year
- Have experienced challenges from COVID-19
- Be in or near a location where Facebook operates

Red Backpack Fund’s $5,000 Grants for Women-Owned Small Businesses
The Sara Blakely Foundation’s Red Backpack Fund in collaboration with Global Giving will be accepting applications on May 4. Visit GlobalGiving.org to learn more and sign up to receive program information via email. Applications will also be accepted on June 1, July 6 and August 3.
