Campbell, CA – The Campbell Police Department, in collaboration with neighboring law enforcement agencies, has been investigating a series of residential burglaries that have occurred since September 2024. Through extensive investigative efforts, Campbell detectives identified various suspects linked to 11 burglaries in Campbell, with evidence connecting them to additional incidents across Santa Clara County.

On Thursday, January 16, the San Jose Police Department executed a search warrant, resulting in the arrest of three suspects: Alberto Vallejo, 25-year-old from Stockton, Jaime Arroyo Martinez, 46-year-old from Hayward, and Gonzalo Valencia, 28-year-old from French Camp.

These individuals have been linked to residential burglaries in Campbell, with additional evidence connecting them to multiple incidents across the County. This progress was achieved through the diligent work of Campbell Police Department officers and detectives, supported by critical information from our community members. Their efforts were key to identifying these suspects and connecting them to incidents in our city. Collaborative efforts with partnering agencies, including the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, Mountain View Police Department, and San Jose Police Department, were essential in linking the suspects to cases in their jurisdictions and ensuring their arrests.

“This case underscores the importance of collaboration and community involvement,” said Campbell Police Chief Gary Berg. “Our patrol officers and detectives worked diligently to identify these suspects, and we are grateful to our community members for reporting suspicious activity and providing critical information. The successful arrests were a direct result of the strong partnerships we maintain with our community and neighboring law enforcement agencies. Together, we are committed to keeping our neighborhoods safe and secure.”

The Campbell Police Department will provide updates as more information becomes available. Community members are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to their local law enforcement agency.
