The City of Campbell will conduct a Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Only voters living in Districts 1 and 2 will vote for City Council Member. Districts 3, 4, and 5 will be voted on in 2026.

Candidate Intention Statements may be filed any time before or during the Nomination Period until Aug. 9, 2024, and must be filed prior to soliciting or receiving campaign contributions or making expenditures from personal funds on behalf of their candidacy. A Candidate does not qualify for the ballot until Nomination Papers have been filed with the City Clerk and signatures have been verified as sufficient.

Obtaining Nomination Papers: Individuals interested in running for office may obtain nomination papers from the Campbell Office of the City Clerk, 70 N. First Street, Campbell. The nomination period for these offices begins at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 15, 2024, and closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024.
Candidate filing period:
The filing period to run for any of the offices listed above in the November 5, 2024, election opens on Monday, July 15, 2024 and continues through Friday, August 9, 2024. If an incumbent fails to file during the nomination period, the nomination period for that office is extended until August 14, 2024 at 5:00 p.m., for any candidates other than the incumbent.
Official Nomination Papers and Campaign Filing information, will be available at the City Clerk's Office beginning July 15, 2024. Official nomination forms cannot be provided prior to that date.
