There are many organizations locally, regionally, and nationally that provide free resources for businesses. If you are just getting started, begin by looking up what permitting and licensing might be required for your business by visiting calgold.ca.gov and entering your business location and industry.
The Federal Small Business Administration has resources, videos, and guides on starting and running a business. You can go to SBA.gov for how-to videos, financial templates, and more.
For established businesses, check out state resources and programs such as industry tax credits and funding through the Employment Training Panel by visiting business.ca.gov.

AnewAmerica operates a Women’s Business Center in Downtown San Jose that provides training, counseling, and other support services to help women entrepreneurs start and successfully grow their businesses.
