The Campbell Skatepark

Current Public use hours are 12pm (noon) - sunset daily, pending weather conditions and safety of the equipment. 


Location

The Campbell Skatepark is located at the Campbell Community Center, just off Campbell Avenue, west of Winchester Boulevard. The Campbell Skatepark is an unsupervised facility and only open during specified hours.

Required Safety Equipment -- Helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads are required for participating.


Skatepark Redesign Project 

The City of Campbell has partnered with American Ramp Company (ARC) to revamp the Campbell Skatepark. After many online and in person opportunities to provide feedback to the layout and elements included in the Skatepark the proposed design of this space was  approved by the Parks and Recreation Commission on August 6, 2025 (link to report and proposed layout) and approved by the City Council on November 4, 2025 (link to report and proposed layout)

Next steps: 
1. Skatepark will CLOSE Monday, February 2, 2026 to being preparation for new equipment.
2. Equipment has been ordered, delivery and installation of new equipment will take place in March 2026.
3. Skatepark Grand Re-Opening event will be held Saturday, April 18th 10am-Noon!

Skateboarding Lessons Now Enrolling!

Taught by our experienced Skatepark Instructor Staff, skateboarding lessons and camps provide a fun and safe environment to help gain confidence and skills. Lessons offer formal techniques, tips, and advice to help you achieve your skateboarding goals. Private lessons are held year-round. Skateboarding classes are offered in Fall and Spring. Summer Camps are available during the summer season.

Beginning Skateboarding

This class, held once a week, is geared toward those with little experience on a skateboard. Students will learn such skills as pushing properly, foot positioning, turning, and orientation with obstacles.  **Please note the Skatepark is closed to the public during classes.

Little Shredders

Take the next step in skateboarding and develop more advanced skills! This class is for those with skateboarding experience, are comfortable on a board, and able to push and go down ramps. Students will learn new trick progressions, including kick flip, lip tricks on the half pipe, and flat land tricks.  

Private Lessons

One-hour private lessons offer personalized instruction and attention to meet your skill level. Private lessons are offered for individuals or semi-private groups (1 or 2 participants) and are tailored to meet specific skills and abilities.

Skatepark Rentals
Skatepark Rentals include exclusive use of the Skate Park and one Skatepark Supervisor to monitor the facility. The Skatepark is available for rent during non-operating hours (in the mornings or afternoons before the park opens or all day on dates the park is closed). Please contact the Recreation Office for more information: (408) 866-2104. Rental availability will be dependent on availability.

Fees: $85/hr + $25 Processing Fee

The Campbell Skatepark is currently open until February 2, 2026. At that time, the park will be closed for the scheduled renovation and expected to re-open in late March 2026.
Helmets are required.  No bikes or motorized vehicles allowed in the Skate Park.
Failure to comply will result in IMMEDIATE closure of the Park.
