- 2024: Planning Agency Award of Excellence. American Planning Association, California Chapter. Granted in recognition of the planning Division's exceptional work as a public sector planning agency.

Granted in recognition of the Planning Division's exceptional work as a public sector planning agency.2017: Economic Planning and Development Award of Merit. American Planning Association, California Chapter. Granted for the 'Pruneyard Master Use Permit.'
- 2014: Growing Smarter Together Awards - Public Private Partnership. Association of Bay Area Governments. Granted for the Marravilla Development.
- 2014: Certificate of Achievement - Real Estate Redevelopment and Reuse. Silicon Valley Leadership Group. Granted for the Safeway (former Mervyn's) Redevelopment Project.
- 2007: Governor's Historic Preservation Award. California Office of Historic Preservation. Granted for the 'Historic Design Guidelines for Residential Buildings.'
