As of January 2, 2020, permit applications submitted to the Police Department will be accepted through the City’s new MyGovernmentOnline (MGO) permitting platform. Before you submit an application for the first time, you must create a user account. For more information about all other permits and MGO, please visit the City’s Permits Center.
All Police Department Permits require a separate business license with the exception of Block Party and Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permits.
If you are an independent contractor to a business, you need a business license.
If you are an employee, you do NOT need a business license.

All highlighted permits need approval from the Planning Department before the Police Department application can be processed. A copy of the Conditional Use Permit will need to be uploaded with the application.
